Senken Checkout is built for businesses making carbon credit purchases up to 500 tCO2. This includes SMEs, suppliers to larger corporates, family offices and funds, and businesses looking to address emissions from travel, events or other parts of their footprint.

Checkout is for businesses and self-employed professionals only. Personal purchases aren’t supported, as Senken Checkout is set up specifically for business customers and their purchasing, documentation and retirement needs.

Our estimates are based on industry averages and your number of employees, so they’re a useful starting point rather than a precise carbon calculation. If you already know your annual footprint, select “Enter my own” and add your figure.

German Projects focuses on climate projects in Germany across regenerative agriculture, biochar and enhanced rock weathering.

Removal-only Projects includes only carbon removal methods, combining nature-based and technology-based removals.

International Projects combines forest and biochar projects from around the world at a more accessible price point.

German Projects and Removal-only Projects are marked as SBTi aligned in Checkout. International Projects is designed as the more cost-effective option.

Yes. Senken Checkout is designed for one-off purchases, with no recurring subscription. You can make another purchase whenever you need to.

Yes. Select “Pay by invoice” under payment method and enter your billing details. We’ll email you an invoice with 14-day payment terms. Your contribution certificate will be issued once we receive your payment.

We’ll email your contribution certificate once payment has been received. If you pay now, you’ll receive it after successful payment. If you pay by invoice, we’ll issue it once your payment arrives.

Your contribution certificate provides a record of your purchase and the portfolio you supported. You can keep it for your records or share it with customers and stakeholders.

Senken retires the purchased carbon credits on your behalf. Credits are retired in batches based on project verification and registry availability. Once retired, they are permanently taken off the market and cannot be resold or reused.
